Frequently Asked Questions

Call Us: +44 (0)7867895354

What should I bring?

We normally ask our clients to bring sun block/cream, any medication that you may need throughout the day and it is a good idea to have a spare layer and a spare set of dry clothes.

Will I get picked up from my accommodation?

Pick up and drop off is included in the price for guests staying locally, if you are further afield we may ask to meet you in a more central location where you can safely leave your vehicle unless of course you would like to bring it with you.

What should I wear?

As we will be outside for the day and the weather can be changeable in the Highlands, we normally recommend that clients dress using a layering system where you have a thermal base layer and then an outer layer of fleece trousers, top and a waterproof jacket. We will supply waders and boots.

Can you guarantee that I will catch fish?

We wish it was that easy! but then again it wouldn’t be as much fun with no challenge! We can’t guarantee that you will catch a fish but we will do the very best we can to help you catch!

Can I kill the fish and eat them?

As passionate anglers we really care about the fish that we catch and strongly believe in  a catch and release policy for Atlantic Salmon in particular. It may be possible to take some fish subject to species, size and time of year and your guide will advise you at the time.

What is your cancelation policy?

Please refer to our booking terms and conditions which we ask you to agree to prior to making a booking.

Do you supply fishing tackle?

Yes we supply all fishing tackle required for the duration of your fishing day or holiday.

Where are you based?

We are based in Fort William in the Scottish Highlands which is a fantastic fishing location as well as being in our opinion one of the most scenic and beautiful places in the country. We have access to some great fishing locations in the area making it  a great based for a fishing trip and there are also a lot of other things to do.

How do I get to you?

Our nearest airport is Inverness which is around 75 miles from us and transfers can be organised at the time of booking.

We are also very fortunate to be on the West Coast Railway Line from Glasgow and London Euston where you can come by train or even the overnight Caledonian Sleeper which is being upgraded for 2019.

If you are already in the area we can pick you up from your accommodation and transport you to our venue for the day.

Can I bring my own fishing tackle?

Ye no problem, however please ensure that if traveling from abroad your equipment has been disinfected to avoid the transfer of diseases such as Gyrodactilis Salaris. You can find information about this parasite Gyrodactilis Salaris. You can find information about this parasite by looking at this pdf document.

.We also ask that if bringing your own equipment you let us know so that we can advise of the suitability

Do you take children?

Yes, not a problem as long as they are accompanied and are strong enough to use the rods and equipment for fly fishing or spinning.
